We are just beyond excited. We finished books three & four yesterday & have completed the majority of other requirements. An end is in sight & we just couldn't be happier. We should be in the system for processing in two weeks, this means that once we are processed we will be able to begin the foster care adoption process.
I am nervous, excited, & praying that we will allow God's guidance in the remainder of the process. I often think during my quiet time who the child or children will be and wonder where they are now and if they know that we are working diligently to be prepared & ready to open our hearts & home to them.
I hope that you will join me in prayer for all children currently in Foster Care/Orphanages to find loving homes whether it be with their families or a new permanent home. Also for those that are in negative home situations that they would be found and brought into better environments. It breaks my heart to think that there are children who go to bed a night in tears & fear what tomorrow brings. I believe all children deserve to giggle, smile, & enjoy their youths with big dreams & lots of love.
